AI literacy training
Building AI literacy in your team – calm, not panicked.
Companies that use AI are expected to promote the AI literacy of their staff. That sounds like an obligation – but above all, it is a good idea. Here is a short, honest overview of what applies and how to put it into practice pragmatically.
Short and honest
What the AI Act requires.
As of October 2026. Not legal advice – if in doubt, ask your legal advisor.

Questions about AI literacy
Does this also apply to small companies?
In principle, yes: Article 4 applies to everyone who provides or uses AI systems in a professional context. The effort depends on how and for what AI is used.
Do we need a certificate?
No, the AI Act does not require any specific certificate. It does make sense to record which measures you have taken.
Is an online course enough?
A general course is a start. Training with the tools and tasks your team actually uses brings more.
